CUCSU polls: 'Sarbojonin Shikkharti Sangsad' panel formed

CHATTOGRAM, Sept 20, 2025 (BSS)- A new panel called "Sarbojonin Shikkharti 
Sangsad" has been formed for the Chattogram University Central Student 
Parliament (CUCSU) elections. 

The panel consists of Bangladesh Chhatra Odhikar Parishad and Islami Chhatra 
Majlis. 

Convener of Chhatra Odhikar Parishad Tamjid Uddin made the announcement on 
the campus premises this afternoon.

Tamjid Uddin, a postgraduate student from the Electrical and Electronic 
Engineering Department, will be running for the Vice President (VP) post in 
the CUCSU polls while Shakib Mahmud Rumi, president of Islami Chhatra Majlis 
and also a fourth-year student of the Arabic Department, is running for the 
position of General Secretary (GS). 
 
Md. Roman Rahman, a member secretary of Chhatra Odhikar Parishad and a 
fourth-year student of the Bangladesh Studies Department, will be contesting 
for the position of Assistant General Secretary (AGS).

The panel members are as follows: Sports and Athletics Secretary Md. Sabuj, 
Assistant Sports and Athletics Secretary Md. Jahangir Alam, Literature, 
Culture, and Publications Secretary Dewan Abdur, Assistant Literature, 
Culture, and Publications Secretary Siam Al Ihsan, Office Secretary Touhidul 
Islam (Sayed), Assistant Office Secretary Shafin Rahman, Student Welfare 
Secretary Sanjida Akhter, Science and Technology Secretary Mazharul Islam, 
Research and Innovation Secretary Touhidul Islam (Suhan), Social Service and 
Environment Secretary Mehedi Hasan, Health Secretary Zahirul Islam, 
Liberation War and Democratic Movement Secretary Ziauddin Sayem, Career 
Development and International Affairs Secretary Nazmus Sadat Md. Sayem, 
Communication and Housing Secretary Md. Nazmus Shakib, Assistant 
Communication and Housing Secretary Raihan Abdullah, Law and Human Rights 
Secretary Yasin Arafat and Library Secretary Md. Maruf.
 
The executive members: Md. Mujahidullah (Mujahid), Kazi Belal Hossain, Abid 
Hasan and Salman Muhammad Sajib.
