ICT rejects bail plea of Kamal Ahmed Majumder

DHAKA, Sept 22, 2025(BSS)- The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 today 
rejected the bail petition of former state minister Kamal Ahmed Majumder in 
connection with a case lodged for his alleged involvement in crimes against 
humanity during last year's July-August mass uprising.

The two-member tribunal led by Justice Golam Mortuza Majumder passed the 
order after hearing a petition submitted by the lawyer of Kamal Ahmed 
Majumder. 

The tribunal also fixed tomorrow for passing out an order on an application 
for treating him at hospital considering his old-age and illness.

Advocate Mizanur Rahman moved for Kamal Ahmed Majumder before the tribunal where prosecutor Gazi M H Tamim was present for the state.
