Justice Farah Mahbub nominated for vacation bench of Appellate Division

DHAKA, Sept 22, 2025 (BSS) - The Chief Justice has nominated Justice Farah Mahbub for the vacation bench of the Appellate Division (AD) of the Supreme Court (SC), according to a notification published on the SC website.

The notification said that the Chief Justice nominated Justice Farah Mahbub as a vacation judge to dispose of urgent matters related to cases of the Appellate Division from September 21 to October 16 during the ongoing vacation.

Justice Farah Mahbub disposed of urgent matters related to cases in Chamber Court No. 2 of the Appellate Division today which was scheduled for Sunday (September 21).

But, the bench proceeding had been stalled for September 21 to pay tribute to the late Md. Salauddin Ahmed, a senior lawyer of the Supreme Court and former Attorney General of Bangladesh.
