FBI keen to work with ATU to combat terrorism

DHAKA, Sept 22, 2025 (BSS) – The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of the United States has expressed its keenness to work together with Bangladesh’s Anti-Terrorism Unit (ATU) to combat terrorism and extremism. 
 
A four-member delegation from the US Embassy comprising FBI officials working in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka expressed the eagerness during a courtesy call on newly appointed Head of the ATU, Additional IGP Md. Rezaul Karim at the ATU office this afternoon, said a police press release.  

Both sides also expressed their eagerness of mutual cooperation to fight terrorism, it added.
