DHAKA, Sept 23, 2025 (BSS) - Police on Monday arrested 12 more crime suspects from different parts of Mohammadpur in the capital in the last 24 hours. 

In a bid to control crime, Mohammadpur Police Station of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested 12 people involved in various crimes by conducting special operations in various crime-prone areas under Mohammadpur Police Station in the capital, said a police press release.

The arrested have been identified as Ripon Lara (35), Nur Alam (25), Morsalin (20), Jibon (22), Anwara (40), Jamal (37), Rahmat Ali (27), Mainuddin (39), Rashedul Hasan Tuhin (45), Akash alias Prashant (19) , Sabbir (25) and Shaon (18).
