DHAKA, Sept 23, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi today alleged that new propaganda is being spread targeting the party.

"We are still the opposition party…We're a victim of various false narratives and misinformation. After August 5, new narratives are being created targeting BNP," he said.

Rizvi made the remarks at a medical aid distribution event at the BNP Chairperson's political office in Gulshan in the capital.

The senior BNP leader added, “These new narratives are being manufactured to cover up the failure of the ‘minus-two’ plan from the 1/11 period. There is an attempt to erase BNP."

Referring to the chaos in New York, he said this incident proved that nobody would be spared if Sheikh Hasina returns to the country.

Claiming that BNP is a victim of various forms of misinformation, he said, "It won’t bring good to anybody, if someone cozying up with the fascists to seize state power through the back door."

The veteran BNP leader also urged all to be vigilant to prevent fascism return.

At the event, medical assistance was provided to 22 families suffering from various health-related complications.
