Former DNCC woman councilor Nargis held in Gulshan

DHAKA, Sept 24, 2025 (BSS) - Police have arrested former Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) woman councilor and Mohila Awami League leader Hazera Khatun Nargis was from the capital's Gulshan area.

She was arrested from a house under Gulshan Police Station around 11:45 pm on Tuesday, said a police press release.

The detained Nargis is accused of multiple murder cases linked to July Uprising and a case filed under Anti-Terrorism Act with Gulshan Police Station.
