DMP files 2,270 cases for violating traffic rules

DHAKA, Sept 24, 2025 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 2,270 cases across the capital for violating traffic rules.

DMP Traffic Division has filed those cases and realized fines on September 23 during regular drive against traffic rules breakers, according to a press release issued today. 

The release said the DMP traffic police dumped 387 motor vehicles and towed 92 vehicles during the campaign. 

It further said these drives against traffic rule breakers will continue to ensure discipline on Dhaka's streets.
