DHAKA, Sept 25, 2025 (BSS) – The Bangladesh Labour Party has been officially registered with the Election Commission (EC) following a court order.

Election Commission Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed said that, “In accordance with the provisions of the Representation of the People Order (RPO), the Bangladesh Election Commission, in view of the judgment and order dated May 29 of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, has registered the Bangladesh Labour Party, located at Head Office: 85/1 Nayapaltan, Mosque Street (Third Floor), Dhaka-1000, as a political party.”
