Tarique Rahman assumes responsibility for injured JCD leader's treatment

DHAKA, Sept 27, 2025 (BSS)- BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has taken full 
responsibility for the proper medical treatment of a Jatiyatabadi Chatra Dal 
leader, who was seriously injured in an attack by Awami League activists.

The injured student leader is Md. Dolon Bhuiyan, former President of JCD Ward 
No. 1 unit of Bhulta Union under the Rupganj upazila.

On behalf of Tarique Rahman, a delegation from "Amra BNP Poribar" led by BNP 
Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi visited Dolon's home this 
morning.

During the visit, Rizvi, also chief adviser of "Amra BNP Poribar", inquired 
about the overall health condition and treatment of the wounded student 
leader. 

Later, Rizvi provided financial assistance to Dolon on behalf of the party's 
Acting Chairman to support his proper medical treatment.

Recently, Dolon was severely wounded with sharp weapons by fascist Awami 
League members at the behest of Kawser, a land grabber and close associate of 
former Minister Golam Dastagir Gazi. As a result, his right hand has become 
completely dysfunctional.

Convener of "Amra BNP Poribar" Atiqur Rahman Rumon conveyed Tarique Rahman's 
message of sympathy to the severely injured Dolon and pledged all-out 
cooperation and support to him.

Jatiyatabadi Swechchasebak Dal Vice-President Dr. Zahidul Kabir Zahid, Member 
Secretary of Narayanganj District Juba Dal Moshiur Rahman Rony, Former 
Central Committee Vice-President of Chatra Dal Jamil Hossain, Former General 
Secretary of BUET Chatra Dal Engineer Abu Hanif, Advisor to "Amra BNP 
Poribar" Engineer Mostafa-e-Zaman Selim, and its members Masud Rana Liton, 
Shakil Ahmed, Farhad Ali Sajib and Shahadat Hossain were present, among 
others, at the event.
