Certificate giving ceremony for 74th BAF FSO Course held

DHAKA, Sept 29, 2025 (BSS) - The certificate distribution ceremony of the 
74th Flight Safety Officers' (FSO) Course of the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) 
was held today at the Flight Safety Institute in Dhaka Cantonment.

Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Planning) Air Vice-Marshal Md Sharif Uddin 
Sarker was present as the chief guest and distributed certificates and 
trophies among the trained officers, said a release of Inter-Services Public 
Relations (ISPR) Directorate here this afternoon.

A total of 22 trainee officers, 18 from the BAF and two each from Bangladesh 
Navy and Biman Bangladesh Airlines took part in the course, it said.

The chief guest distributed certificates among all the trained officers and 
presented the 'Chief of Air Staff's Trophy' and certificate to Squadron 
Leader Tawsif Abrar, GD (P) for the best performance in the course.

Congratulating the trainees for their successful completion of the training, 
the chief guest urged them to perform their duties with utmost 
professionalism, the ISPR added.

Senior officials of BAF, Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy and Biman 
Bangladesh Airlines, among others, attended the ceremony.
