DHAKA, Sept 30, 2025 (BSS) - The operations of the countrywide customs houses will remain open tomorrow in limited scale during the holidays centering the Durga Puja festival.

The move aims to ensure uninterrupted trade flow despite the two-day public holiday from October 1 to 2, marking the biggest religious festival of the Hindu community.

In a notice today, the National Board of Revenue (NBR) asked officials to take necessary steps so that cross-border shipments can proceed during the festival period.
