Tarique Rahman greets teenage Innovator Nabil for innovating 'Guardian Angel Plus' app

BRAHMANBARIA, Sept 30, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Acting Chairman and the main sponsor of ‘Amra BNP Paribar’ Tarique Rahman has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Ahnaf Bin Ashraf Nabil, a teenage researcher from Brahmanbaria, for innovating the ‘Guardian Angel Plus’ app. 

Nabil’s Bangladeshi team achieved significant global recognition, winning the Gold Medal and the MICCA Special Award in the IT and Robotics Category for ‘Young Sparks’. 

This achievement came after the team successfully competed against more than 400 teams worldwide.

The award-winning invention is an application named ‘Guardian Angel Plus’. The app is described as a multi-dimensional digital platform specifically designed to ensure the safety of children, adolescents, and women.

The 'Guardian Angel Plus' app incorporates several critical features, including a help button and live location sharing, support for mental health and suicide prevention, a blood donor network with emergency information, AI-based emotion analysis, and educational content focused on environmental and career awareness.

Tarique Rahman recently expressed his support for Nabil to help enhance his merit-based excellence. 

Following instructions of the BNP Acting Chairman, Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, the BNP Senior Joint Secretary General and Chief Adviser of ‘Amra BNP Paribar’, visited Nabil's village home at Brahmanbaria on September 4, 2025.

Advocate Rizvi met Nabil and two other members of his team. During the visit, special financial assistance was provided on behalf of Tarique Rahman to encourage their research work and foster merit-based excellence.

Atikur Rahman Rumon, the Convener of ‘Amra BNP Paribar’, delivered Tarique Rahman’s message of goodwill directly to the teenage researcher and innovator.

Engineer Khaled Hossain Mahbub Shyamol, who serves as the Central Economic Affairs Secretary of the party also President of Brahmanbaria District BNP, Engineer Ashraf Uddin Bokul, an Advisor of ‘Amra BNP Paribar’ and Jahidul Islam Rony,  a member of the National Press Club Management Committee among others, were present at the event.

Ahnaf Bin Ashraf Nabil is a tenth-grade student at Niaz Muhammad High School in College Para, Brahmanbaria district town. His innovation has garnered attention on the world stage.
