Hasnat Abdullah for maintaining communal harmony

CUMILLA, Oct 1, 2025 (BSS) – National Citizen Party (NCP) Chief Organizer (Southern region) Hasnat Abdullah has urged all to maintain communal harmony across the country.

“Existing communal harmony must be protected for the future prosperity of the nation,” he said while talking to reporters after inspecting a Puja Mandap in Sanchail village under Debidwar Upazila of Cumilla on Tuesday night.

Hasnat Abdullah dismissed earlier concerns about potential unrest, stating that communal harmony will always prevail in the country.

He underscored the long-standing relationship between Hindus and Muslims in the country, describing it as sincere and cordial.

He also emphasized that this bond must remain intact.

Following the visit, Hasnat Abdullah distributed saris among women attending the Puja. NCP leaders and activists from Debidwar Upazila were also present on the occasion.
