Sohel seeks support for BNP to build a prosperous Bangladesh

KHULNA, Oct 5, 2025 (BSS) - BNP joint general secretary Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel today sought people's support for the party in the upcoming national elections to build a prosperous Bangladesh. 

"Our Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has pledged 31-point charter to fulfill the dream of the country's people," Sohel said as the chief guest at a youth rally in Terokhada Upazila here in the district.

The rally, held with the slogan "Youth's Commitment: Restore the Right to Vote", was presided over by Upazila Jubo Dal convener Molla Humayun Kabir.

BNP national executive committee's Information Affairs Secretary Azizul Bari Helal, addressing the gathering as chief speaker, said development of Terokhada remains their prime objective.

Helal added that the current literacy rate in Terokhada stands at 65 percent, and the BNP if in power would focus on increasing it alongside creating employment. 

The rally was also addressed by Jubo Dal leaders Ebadul Haque Rubayed and Nazimuzzaman Jony, while district BNP convener Md. Moniruzzaman Montu, senior joint convener Advocate Momrezul Islam, and other local leaders were present.

Earlier, processions from different parts of the upazila joined the rally.
