DHAKA, Oct 6, 2025 (BSS) - Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to Bangladesh Lulzim Pllana paid a courtesy call on Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman at the latter's office in the capital's Bashundhara area this morning.

During the meeting, the envoy inquired about the health condition of the Jamaat Ameer and wished him a speedy recovery.

They exchanged views on the current political situation in Bangladesh as well as various issues of mutual interest, including bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Kosovo.

Both sides expressed optimism that the existing ties between the two countries would be further strengthened in the days ahead.

Jamaat Secretary General Professor Mia Golam Parwar and Assistant Secretary General Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair were also present during the meeting.
