DHAKA, Oct 06, 2025 (BSS) – The government today appointed Md Liakat Ali Mollah, secretary of the Law and Justice Division of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
The government earlier on August 28, 2025, had entrusted Md Liakat Ali Mollah with the current charge of secretary of the division.
A gazette notification, signed by Deputy Secretary (Admin-2) Md Azizul Haque said the order was passed following the approval of the proper authorities.
The post fell vacant after former Law and Justice Division Secretary Sheikh Abu Taher was appointed additional judge to the High Court Division along with 24 others on August 25.
