DHAKA, Oct 7, 2025 (BSS) - The special metropolitan magistrate court of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) conducted summary trials in 257 cases of minor offences in past September.
 
According to DMP Headquarters sources, a total of 3881 accused were arrested in 3931 cases in September, said a DMP press release.
 
Out of these, warrants and summons were issued to 3145 accused and fine of Tk 352,900 was realized.
 
These cases included drugs, mobile snatching, theft, eve-teasing, illegally creating obstacles on the road and various traffic-related crimes.
