53 failed students become successful in Rajshahi HSC re-examination result

RAJSHAHI, Nov 16, 2025 (BSS) - A total of 53 students, who failed in the results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination under Rajshahi Education Board, have become successful in the re-examination results today.

The board authority published the result on its website here this morning.

Controller of Examinations Prof Ariful Islam said 25,708 examinees had challenged their 82,223 answer-sheets.

Results of 121 students were changed in the published result, added.

This year, Rajshahi Education Board has secured a 59.40 percent pass rate in the HSC examinations. A total of 10,137 students including 5,682 girls secured GPA-5 among the total passed students in the examination.

Talking to BSS, Prof Islam said a total of 1,30,987 students including 63,317 girls appeared in the examinations in 207 centres from 730 educational institutions in eight districts under the education board.

This year, girls outperformed boys in both the overall pass rate and in achieving GPA-5, with 68.69 percent of girls passing compared to 50.69 percent of boys and 5,682 girls securing GPA-5 against 4,455 boys.

However, none can come out successful from the 35 colleges under the board this year.
