DHAKA, Nov 26, 2025 (BSS) - A Court here today ordered to seize tax files of former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed's wife Jissan Mirza and one of their daughters Tahsin Raisa Binte Benazir.
Judge Md Sabbir Faiz of Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Court passed the orders, allowing two separate pleas of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
The anti-graft body in its plea said it has already filed a case against them for acquiring and possessing movable and immovable assets beyond known sources of income. For the sake of proper investigation, their tax documents should be seized, it added.
