Six Anti-Discrimination Student Movement leaders join Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal at Fatikchhari BNP office amid celebrations. Photo: BSS

CHATTOGRAM, Jan 15, 2026 (BSS)- Six leaders of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in Fatikchhari today joined the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD).
 
The leaders are Md. Adnan, Md. Maruf, Md. Masud, Md. Zia Uddin, Md. Riyad, and Md. Sameer Siddiqui. 

They officially joined the JCD at the Fatikchhari Upazila BNP office this afternoon and were welcomed with flowers. 
 
BNP-nominated candidate for Chattogram-2 Fatikchhari constituency Sarwar Alamgir welcomed the student leaders. 

At the time, Sarwar Alamgir highlighted the important role of students in democratic movements throughout history. He expressed confidence in the youth's ability to lead the country with their talent and creativity in the future, embodying the spirit of the 1971 Liberation War and the 2024 Mass Uprising. 

Leaders and activists of Fatikchhari Upazila Unit Chhatra Dal attended the event.
