DHAKA, Jan 26, 2026 (BSS) - The government today released a teaser on the use of body-worn cameras during the forthcoming national polls and referendum slated for February 12, saying the cameras will help take immediate action as soon as any incident occurs.

The Chief Adviser's Press Wing released the 1:59 minutes teaser tonight stating that during the elections, members of the law enforcement agencies will be equipped with body-worn cameras, while CCTV cameras will be installed at polling centres.

All activities will be monitored round the clock from a control room, and immediate action will be taken as soon as any incident occurs, it said.
