Planning commission gets new member

DHAKA, Feb 08, 2026 (BSS) – The government today transferred Md Mahmudul Hussain Khan, secretary attached to the Chief Adviser’s Office, to the Planning Commission as a member (secretary).

The public administration ministry has issued a notification signed by deputy secretary Mohammad Rafiqul Haque in this regard.

It said the order issued for public interest will come into effect immediately.

Besides, the government has promoted director general (additional secretary) of the chief adviser’s office Dr Mohammad Abdul Latif to the rank of grade-1, according to another notification.

The ministry issued the notification in this regard here today saying Abdul Latif has been transferred to the Bangladesh Karmachari Kallyan Board (BKKB) as its director general.

It also said that the order issued for public interest will come into effect immediately.
