DHAKA, May 9, 2026 (BSS) - A first-of-its-kind Mother’s Day celebration in the capital tomorrow will spotlight 30 mother-led businesses through a vibrant “Mother’s Market”, showcasing entrepreneurship, creativity and resilience of women balancing family life and business leadership.

Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan, in collaboration with BRAC Bank’s TARA platform, will host “The Motherhood Movement” on Sunday, marking and inspiring mothers.

At the heart of the event will be the “Mother’s Market”, a thoughtfully curated showcase featuring 30 mother-led brands, offering visitors an opportunity to explore a diverse range of handcrafted, self-made and passion-driven products.

The marketplace will feature hand-painted sarees, artisanal jewellery, homemade preserves, handcrafted candles, fashion items and other lifestyle products reflecting craftsmanship and entrepreneurial spirit.

Built around the theme “Celebrating Passion, Power & Possibility”, the daylong event is designed to honour mothers who are not only nurturing families but also building businesses, pursuing ambitions and redefining leadership in contemporary society.

Organisers said the event would serve as more than a marketplace, creating a platform where stories of resilience, creativity and entrepreneurship come alive while allowing guests to connect with, support and celebrate women-led journeys.

Adding further depth to the celebration, the “Passion, Power & Possibility – Leadership Session” will bring together accomplished industry leaders and inspiring mothers for a panel discussion on balancing business and motherhood.

The celebration will conclude with the Inspiring Mothers Awards, recognising outstanding mother entrepreneurs and changemakers for their contributions to society.

The Mother’s Market will remain open from 10am to 9pm at Crowne Plaza Dhaka in Gulshan.
