DHAKA, July 31, 2026 (BSS)- Two more children suspected of having measles died and 1,085 new measles and 900 suspected cases were reported in the last 24 hours in the country.

The two deaths from suspected cases raising the total number of suspected measles death cases to 741 children since March 15, 2026 according to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number suspected measles cases reached to 128,310.

During the last 24 hours, 185 cases were laboratory-confirmed as measles, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 16,059 since March 15.

A total of 110,987 patients with suspected measles were admitted to hospitals since March 15. During the same period, 106,859 patients recovered and were discharged from hospital.

No deaths from confirmed measles were reported in the past 24 hours. From March 15, the total number of deaths from confirmed measles is 96.
