Administrator of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Bir Muktijoddha Md. Abdus Salam

DHAKA, July 31, 2026 (BSS) - Administrator of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Bir Muktijoddha Md. Abdus Salam formally inaugurated the activities of ‘i Tech & Consultancy’, an organization working on branding global education in Bangladesh.

He cut the ribbon at the ‘i Tech & Consultancy’office in the Greater Mymensingh Association building in the city to officially launch the organization's operations this evening. 

Earlier, a milad mahfil was arranged to seek the boundless mercy of Almighty Allah and to wish for the success, prosperity and well-being of the organization's new journey.  

Officials of the organization and well-wishers participated at the milad mahfil.   

 The DSCC Administrator encouraged the initiative for widening opportunities for those who are interested to go abroad for jobs.  

Addressing the discussion, officials concerned said Bangladesh aims to send 500,000 workers to Japan within the next two and a half years.

Speakers said there are extensive employment opportunities in caregiving, driving, and civil construction sectors under Japan’s Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) Programme.

They emphasised that such initiatives can play an important role in connecting Bangladesh’s youth with the global education and labour markets and in developing a skilled workforce.
