DHAKA, Aug 11, 2026 (BSS) – Paltan police arrested 13 people allegedly involved in various crimes in a day-long special operation in the capital’s Paltan area on Tuesday.

The arrested were identified as Mahbubur Rahman Ashik alias Kayes, 36, Raihan, 25, Ibrahim, 30, Manik alias Tony Molla, 30,  Anik, 26,  Hazrat Ali, 22, Sagar, 19,  Mostafa Zaman Munna, 27,  Imran, 28,  Delwar alias Delu, 40, Shakil, 18, Arif, 19, and Al Amin alias Sajib, 24.

Police said the drive was conducted at different crime-prone spots under Paltan Police Station. 

Legal proceedings against the detainees are underway, while similar operations will continue to maintain law and order in the area.
