DHAKA, Aug 25, 2026 (BSS) - Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Administrator 
Md Abdus Salam has directed the concerned officials to take immediate necessary measures to remove all illegal parking facilities and unauthorized shops adjacent to Badamtali Market in the old part of the capital.

Earlier today, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Additional Commissioner (Traffic) Md Anisur Rahman sought the DSCC administrator's assistance in resolving the problems of illegal structures and parking in the Badamtali area. 

Immediately after being informed of the matter, the administrator ordered the removal of all illegal parking facilities and structures.
