DHAKA, Aug 30, 2026 (BSS) - The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 76 people in separate operations in different crime-prone areas under its Tejgaon division on Saturday.

According to a press release, the arrests were made during regular anti-crime drives conducted on Saturday.

Of the arrestees, 11 were from Tejgaon Police Station area, 12 from Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, 32 from Mohammadpur, 10 from Adabor, eight from Tejgaon Industrial Area and three from Hatirjheel.

The detainees were arrested in connection with various crimes, police said.

They were subsequently sent to the concerned court.
