TANGAIL, Jan 15, 2025 (BSS)- Primary School Gold Cup Football tournament has
begun at Shaheed Maruf Stadium in Tangail with the slogan "Let's change the
country, change the world".

Deputy Commissioner of Tangail Sharifa Haque inaugurated the meet as the
chief guest by releasing balloons.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Sanjay Kumar Mohanto,
District Education Officer Md. Sahab Uddin, Tangail District Sports
Association Former General Secretary Advocate Ali Imam Tapan and District
Sports Officer Md. Afaz Uddin were present as special guests in the opening
ceremony, organised by the District Primary Education Office.
 
Tangail District Cricket Coach Arafat Rahman, Sports Organiser Shah Aziz
Talukder Bappi, other sports organisers, players, teachers of various primary
schools of the district, participating students and parents were also present
at the event.

Prizes will be distributed among the winners' of the tournament held in both
boys' and girls' categories on January 20.
