CHATTOGRAM, Jan 17, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh assistant coach Nic Pothas stepped down from his position, citing the reason that he now wants to spend some quality time with his family.

He announced his resignation from Bangladesh’s coaching set up through a post on his social media outlet.

“Like all good things, this too must come to an end. I've had an amazing time with some great people while with @bcb_tigers_official. We've broken many records along the way, made history, and created amazing memories,” Pothas wrote.

“Now it's time to spend some quality time at home and see what the next chapter holds. I wish everyone at Bangladesh Cricket the very best for an exciting year ahead. I'll miss you.”

BCB Cricket Operations in-charge Shahriar Nafees also confirmed his resignation, saying that Pothas cited family reasons.

“His contract ran until 2026, but he resigned due to family reasons. His resignation was effective from December 20, last year.
