Joint secretary visits two sports establishments in Bogura

BOGURA, Feb 1, 2025 (BSS) - Joint Secretary of Youth and Sports Ministry Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Zobayed Hossain visited Bogura district Swimming Pool and Shaheed Chandu Stadium on Saturday.
 
During the visit, he explored different parts of the stadium and the swimming pool.

Speaking to the pressmen, Zobayed Hossain said the gallery and other parts of the stadium have been broken due to lack of proper renovation for a long time. The swimming pool is also in the same condition.
 
He would inform the concerned authority of the ministry to take necessary steps for the renovation of these two establishments. 

Meanwhile, Deputy Director of Youth Development Department, Bogura and member secretary convening committee of the district sports association Tochaddek Hossain, Additional Deputy Commissioner (overall, current duty) Imrul Kayes, District Sports Officer Alamgir Hossain, Members of the convening committee of the District Sports Association Khawaja Abu Hayat Hiru, Mustafa Mughal, Khaled Mahmud Rubel and Hasan Mollah and Shaheed Chandu Stadium Venue Manager Jamilur Rahman Jamil were present, among others, on the occasion.

Earlier, the joint secretary inaugurated various sports, participated by children with special needs, competition, organized by the District Sports Office.
