BKSP keep win in women's hockey

DHAKA, March 17, 2025 (BSS)- Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan (BKSP), 
table topper of group B, continued their winning run in the BRACK Bank 
Development Cup Women's Hockey when they thrashed Thakurgaon district by 16-1 
goals held at Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) ground in the capital on Monday.

In the day's another match, Rangpur district split point with Cumilla 
district when their match ended in a tame goalless draw also held at the same 
venue.
 
At Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium, table topper of group A Dinajpur 
district blanked Chattogram district by 2-0 goals while Patuakhali district 
shared point with Rajshahi district when their match ended in a goalless 
draw.
  
Organised by Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF), a total of 11 teams -- 10 
district teams and Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan (BKSP)-- split into 
two groups are participating in the meet.

The participating teams:

Group A - Dinajpur district, Jashore district, Chattogram district, 
Patuakhali district and Rajshahi district

Group B - BKSP, Jhenaidah district, Thakurgaon district, Rangpur district, 
Cumilla district and Kishoreganj district.
