Dhaka Rangers, PWD notch win in BCL

DHAKA, March 24, 2025 (BSS)-Dhaka Rangers Football Club and PWD Sports Club won their respective matches of the Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Championship League football held at two separate venues in the capital and its adjoining area on Monday.

In the day's match, Dhaka Rangers Football Club, came from behind, beat Little Friends Club by 2-1 goals held at Fortis ground in the capital.

In the proceeding, Md Amir Ali put Little Friends Club ahead early in the 8th minute but Dhaka Rangers fought back in match in the dying moment as Ariyan Shikder scored both the goal for the winning side in the 90+2nd 90+4th minutes of the match.

In the day's another match, PWD edged past old Dhaka outfit Farashganj Sporting Club by a solitary goal held at haheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur.

In the day's match, Md Sharif scored the all-important goal for PWD in the very 4th minute of the match.
