DHAKA, May 25, 2025 (BSS)-Badhon Shikder shined in with excellent batting
show as Dhaka Metro secured the title of Young Tigers U16 National Cricket
tournament at Rangpur Cricket Garden today.

Based on the first innings lead, Dhaka Metro beat Chattogram Division U16 in
the series deciding three-day game to lift the trophy. The match, however,
ended in a draw.

Badhon Shikder played a crucial role in earning the side a lead that decided
the fate of the game.

In a low scoring affair, he hit 49 as Dhaka Metro were wrapped up for just
119 in their first innings after opting to bat first.

But their bowlers bowled well in tandem to help the side earn a lead when
they wrapped up Chattogram for 107. Yeasin Mojumder claimed 4-35 while Jubael
Hossain ended with 3-14.

Dhaka Metro thereafter were dismissed for 203 in their second innings with
Badhon making highest 74.

The Day 3 what was the final day of the game was closed after Metro's innings
and thereby Chattogram had no chance to chase the target in the fourth
innings.
