DHAKA, Sept 26, 2025 (BSS)- BFF Academy Football team U-17 reached final of the Second Tianwu Liufang Cup beating Henan Provincial Experimental High School Football team U-17 by 4-0 goals in the semifinal held in Lijiang, China today (Friday).

BFF Academy Football team will play the final match against Wuhan U-17 China team scheduled to be held tomorrow (Saturday) at the same venue at 1 pm Bangladesh time. 

The boys dominated the entire proceeding and took the lead through a goal scored by Raihanul Islam in the 13th minute.

Tahsam Khan doubled the lead scoring the second goal in the 17th minute of the match.

Topon Hossain further widened the margin scoring the third goal just before end of the first half.

After the breather, Mohammad Hedayet Ullah completed the winners' tally scoring the fourth goal for Bangladesh.

Earlier, the BFF Academy boys showed an impressive display beating hosts Shenyang U-17 by 4-0 in their opening group-stage encounter and thrashed Sri Lanka Academy Football U-17 team by 8-0 goals in the second match.

BFF Academy boys, however, suffered a 1-0 goal defeat to Wuhan China U-17 team in their ultimate group match to finished group runners-up.

BFF Academy team confirmed their spot of semifinal defeating Shanghai Yanggpu Distirct Amateur Sports Center U-17 football team by 3-1 goals in the quarter final match.
