DHAKA, Oct 31, 2025 (BSS)- Five times champions Ansar and VDP take on  Bangladesh Police women’s baseball team in the final match of 6th Women’s Baseball Championship scheduled to be held at Ria Gope Women’s Sports Complex in the capital tomorrow (Saturday) at 3 pm.

Post and Tele communication ministry’s secretary Abdun Naser Khan is expected to be present in the final as the chief guest and distribute the prizes. 

Meanwhile, on way to the final today (Friday), Ansar beat Joypurhat baseball Club by 15-0 runs in the first semi-final while Bangladesh Police women’s baseball team defeated Dhaka district baseball team by the same identical margin of 15-0 runs in the second semis.

Vice Chancellor of Green University of Bangladesh Sharif Uddin and vice president of Dhaka College professor Anwar Mahmud were present to encourage the players in today's semi-final games.
