DHAKA, Dec 11, 2025 (BSS)—The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) extends its warm congratulations to Dr Asif Nazrul on becoming the Adviser to the Ministry of Youth & Sports.
Dr Nazrul has long been recognised as someone with a genuine interest in sports and the BCB believes that his new responsibilities will allow him to channel that commitment toward meaningful progress across all disciplines.
BCB President Md Aminul Islam said the Board looks forward to working closely with Dr Nazrul.
“We wish him every success. His familiarity with public affairs and his longstanding enthusiasm for sport give us reason to believe he will play a constructive role in strengthening the sector,” he said.
“Bangladesh cricket is moving forward with clear objectives, and we hope he will stand beside us as we aim for higher standards at every level,” the BCB president added.
