DHAKA, Dec 12, 2025 (BSS) - The Victory Day Handball competition (men's and women's) is set to begin tomorrow (Saturday) at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in Dhaka.

Bangladesh Handball Federation treasurer Md Khaled Anwar is expected to inaugurate the meet as the chief guest at 3:30 pm.

Four men's teams and an equal number of women's teams will take part in the competition, organized by the Bangladesh Handball Federation.

The participating men's teams are Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Ansar & VDP, Bangladesh Police Handball Club, and Team Handball Dhaka. The women's teams are Bangladesh Ansar & VDP, Bangladesh Police Handball Club, Border Guard Bangladesh, and Farque Tomal Sports Academy.
