DHAKA, Jan 12, 2026 (BSS) - Madaripur U-17 District Football Team split point 
with Gopalganj U-17 District Football Team when their match ended in a tame 
goalless draw in the Festival of Youth U-17 National Football Championship 
held at Rajbari district stadium in Rajbari today (Monday).

The two teams fought equally in the first half, however, Madaripur was ahead 
in possession. Madaripur was more aggressive in the second half. They created 
several chances but failed to break the deadlock.

On the other hand, Gopalganj played defensively to secure a point and 
succeeded in holding on to a draw.
 
Amir Hamza of Gopalgaj was named the player of the match for his impressive 
performance.
