DHAKA, Jan 18, 2026 (BSS)-Saif Hasan finally snapped his poor run of form by
smashing a 44 ball-73 as Dhaka Capitals posted 170 before being all out
against Chattogram Royals in their final match of the Bangladesh Premier
League (BPL) at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium today.

Saif took the charge following the dismissal of opener Usman Khan who made a
brief but a blistering 6 ball-16.

Saif, also the vice-captain of Bangladesh T20 squad, then came down heavily
on the bowlers to make them disarray, keeping Dhaka's nose ahead in the game.

He and opener Zubaid Akbari shared a 90-run partnership for the second wicket
with the latter making second highest 29.

Tanvir Islam who finished with 3-25, broke through with the wicket of Akbari
and sent back Shamim Patwari for duck in the next delivery.

However, Saif was undeterred as he kept hitting the bowlers at will.

But once he was dismissed by pacer Mukidul Islam Mugdho after hitting five
fours and as many sixes in his knock, Dhaka middle order batters failed to
utilize the platform set by him properly.

Shoriful Islam and Aamer Jamal picked up two wickets apiece to complement
Tanvir's three-wicket haul.
