Bangladesh Army’s massive win in WFL

DHAKA, Jan 24, 2026 (BSS) - Unnoti Khatun slammed a brilliant hat-trick as Bangladesh Army registered an overwhelming 9-0 win over thrash Suddopuskorini Jubo Sporting Club in the Women’s Football League (WFL) held at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium at Kamalapur today.

In the day’s match, Unnoti Khatun scored hat-trick with four goals in the 45, 65 and 79 minutes and Munia Akter Munu struck twice in 67 and 81 minutes. Joynob Bibi Rita and Shika Akter supported them with one goal each in 12 and 77 minute after they took a lead through a suicidal goal scored by Suddopuskorini‘s Ruma Akter in 9th minute.

With this win Army moved up second position in the league table with 21 points from eight matches while Suddopuskorini remained with their previous collection of 12 points playing the same number of matches.
