DHAKA, Jan 27, 2026 (BSS) - A fluent half-century from opener Rifat Sanjid Shihab gave Odommo  a winning start to the CCDM T20 Challenge Cup as they edged Odityo team past by four wickets at National Cricket Ground in Purbachal, Dhaka today.

Shadat Hridoy claimed 3-13 to play an important bowling, which eventually enabled Odommo to restrict Oditiyo for a meager 125-7.

Rifat Sanjid then hit 35 ball-52 with six fours and two sixes to anchor the chase, guiding the side to victory in 19.1 overs as Odommo reached 131-6.

He almost single-handedly crafted the chase amid the wickets tumbling around him as Oditiyo sensed a victory by defending the paltry total.

However, Rifat’s panache kept them at bay, sailing Odommo at home with relative ease.

After taking three wickets with the bowling, Hridoy made 18 for second-best individual knock for Odommo.
