Federation cup final rescheduled

DHAKA, May 19, 2026 (BSS) - The final of the Federation Cup has been rescheduled and will now be held tomorrow (Wednesday) instead of today, according to a press release issued by the Bangladesh Football Federation.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 5:30 pm.

Bashundhara Kings were set to face Mohammedan Sporting Club in the final at the Bashundhara Kings Arena in the capital.

The Bangladesh Football Federation said the match was rescheduled due to unavoidable circumstances.

Earlier, defending champions Bashundhara Kings advanced to the final of the 10-team Federation Cup with a commanding 4–0 victory over Brothers Union in the first qualifier. Mohammedan secured their place in the final after a dramatic 2–1 win over Brothers Union Club in the decisive second qualifier.
