DHAKA, June 8, 2026 (BSS) - The Bangladesh women's national team has returned home today (Monday) from India following their campaign at the SAFF Women's Championship. 

Upon arrival, the team was warmly received by Mahfuza Akhter (Kiron), member of the executive committee, Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), head of women's wing, and AFC executive committee member.

BFF vice president Fahad Karim and executive member Md. Iqbal Hossain were also present to welcome the team. 

Earlier, Bangladesh finished -runners-up in the championship after a 3-1 defeat to host India in the final held on Saturday in Goa.
