DHAKA, June 8, 2026 (BSS) – President of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), Tabith Awal, on Monday extended his heartfelt congratulations to Tamim Iqbal on being elected president of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

In a congratulatory message, Tabith Awal said: “On behalf of the BFF executive committee and myself, I extend my sincere and warm congratulations to you on being elected president of BCB.”

He expressed confidence that Tamim would achieve success as a sports organizer just as he did during his distinguished playing career, citing his dedication and deep passion for cricket.

The BFF boss further stated that under Tamim’s leadership, experience and vision, BCB would become more dynamic and continue to strengthen its position in the international cricket arena.

He also wished Tamim good health, a long life and continued success in his new role.
