Sajid still maintains solo lead

DHAKA, June 10, 2026 (BSS)- FIDE Master Sakline Mostafa Sajid of Bangladesh 
Ansar maintained his solo lead in the points table with 6.5 points after the 
7th round of the Leonine Chess Club Invitational FIDE Rating Chess Tournament 
held at the club's hall room of Rangs-Nasim Square in the city's Dhanmondi 
today (Wednesday).

International Master Md Minhaz Uddin of Bangladesh Navy following the leader 
with 5 points and International Master Monon Reja Neer of Bangladesh Navy is 
in 3rd position with 4.5 points in from six games.

In the day's seven-round games, , FIDE Master Sakline Mostafa Sajid defeated 
International Master Abu Sufian Shakil of Bangladesh Police Chess Club, IM Md 
Minhaz Uddin drew with IM Manon Reja Neer, FIDE Master Tahsin Tajwar Zia of 
Bangladesh Ansar drew with FIDE Master Syed Mahfuzur Rahman of Manha's 
Castle, FIDE Master Khandaker Aminul Islam of Bangladesh Navy defeated 
Tashriq Saihan Shan of Bangladesh Police Chess Club and CM Sohel Chowdhury of 
Manha's Castle defeated FIDE Master Sheikh Nasir Ahmed of Bangladesh Navy.
