DHAKA, Aug 24, 2026 (BSS) – Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of renowned sports organizer Mohammad Abdul Mannan, said a press release.

Mohammad Abdul Mannan, also vice president of second division football league participating club Tongi Krira Chakra, passed away on Sunday last night while undergoing treatment at a hospital in the city at the age of 55.

Abdul Mannan is survived by his wife, one son, one daughter, and a host of well-wishers to mourn his death.

In a condolence message today (Monday), BFF president Tabith Awal, along with senior vice president, vice presidents, members of the executive committee, the general secretary, members of all standing committees and the federation's officials and staff expressed profound grief over the death of Abdul Mannan and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
