Govt to appoint maintenance contractor for SPM through OTM

DHAKA, Jan 2, 2025 (BSS) – The government has approved a proposal in principle for appointing operations and maintenance contractor for the Installation of Single Point Mooring (SPM) through Open Tender Method (OTM) instead of G2G basis.

The approval was given today in a meeting of the Advisers Council Committee on Economic Affairs (ACCEA) held at the Cabinet Division conference room at Bangladesh Secretariat with Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed in the chair.

Cabinet Division officials said that the Energy and Mineral Resources Division placed the proposal.
