13.5pc growth of remittance inflow till Sept 13

DHAKA, Sept 15, 2025 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 13.5 percent reaching $1,306 million in the first 13 days of September, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued today.

Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $1,150 million.

During the July to September 13, 2025 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances of $6,205 million, which was $5,288 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
